I've had a black 87 iroc for 22 years and bought a blue one a few years back with huge plans. However, it mostly sat so I took off some parts I needed and parted out the rest. The blue one had a 9 bolt with positraction and my black one was just a regular 10 bolt. I also needed to install the rear lowering springs and some founders parts. So before I sold the remains of the blue one I swapped axles. Removed, blasted, painted, changed fluids, installed upgraded suspension.

 

Looks good, I would look into upgrading the rear discs.
