T4 Durability

I have an 84 Z28 that I use for autocross in the local CAM class. It has a warmed over 350 mated to a T5 trans. I'm curious as to the durability of the T4 trans compared to a T5. Any advantage there ? Always looking for a low buck mod that has been overlooked. Thanks for any insight.

Re: T4 Durability

T4 is exactly the same transmission as the T5 except without 5th gear. I've built several T5s from T4s.

Re: T4 Durability

Thanks for the response. Looks like at some point I may have to part with some green if I want a stronger trans.
