Need advise on t5
Ok so I bought a 91 Z28 as a project.
It is a 305 TPI
5 speed T5 WC out of an 89 Formula
3.23 Posi with rear discs out of a 92 GTA
I am currently trying to get the speedometer to work. I know that the 89 trans has the 2k ppm vss in it. I know I need the 4k ppm for my speedo to work correctly also I need the correct speedo gear. What are my options here because the 4k ppm vss is discontinued and I have searched everywhere I could think of. Is there an alternate route I can take?
Thanks

Re: Need advise on t5
Dakota digital sgi-5. It's fully adjustable. Simple to wire in mount and use.

Speedo gears ( set it up like an '85 basically, ) and a VSS that threads onto the speedo drive.
As long as you have the drive gear correct ( 7 or 9 tooth), you can install it and pull the VSS and driven gear to change it up while tit is in the car.
