dose anyone make a LT-1 T-56 hydraulic throw-out bearing
OK, so when I get home from overseas I want to to a bunch of upgrades as well as fix up the camaro, on of the thing I want to do is convert to a multi disk clutch, but as I have a conversion flywheel (internal balanced 383 and a LT1 T-56), it makes things difficult, I was thinking, if I convert it to a Hyd throw-out bearing instead of the pull style clutch currently installed I can use a standered multi disk for a reg small block, I am not willing to give up the transmission, as it is built up and I have about 5k in parts in it(basically the only thing original in it is the case), is the front plate the same as a LS1 T-56, and if so will a LS1 hyd throw-out bearing work? thanks in advance.

I did it Quarter Master slave Tilton master cylinder. Twin disk. The pics are mixed in with my motor build.

I did mine much in the way TORN did. I am using a 7.25" triple disc Quarter Master Clutch with Tilton's 6000 series release bearing. My release bearing sleeve was already broken when I got the trans so I replaced it with the 03-04 cobra part and cut it off shorter to interfere with my clutch. Then made an anti-rotation bar that bolted to the original clutch fork mount and served as point to tie the hoses to as well.

for some reason quarter master's website dosen't work over here (I'm in Saudi Arabia right now, I go back to Tucson hopefully around Nov), so i'm going completely off your post, how hard is the install, all the work on the transmission was done in Vegas and South Carolina, I'm too scared to take apart myself, bearing in mind the transmission is in AZ, is the alignment pin using an existing hole or did you have to make one, and did you have to do any modification to the front face of the transmission, I plan on using quick-time SFI 6.1 bellhousing ( https://www.holley.com/products/driv.../parts/RM-9023 ), and centerforce DYAD clutch ( https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ctf-04614820 ), I curently have a stock LT1 hays clutch, with a conversion flywheel I got off Ebay for a 2-piece RMS block, and it slips bad under power.

Awesome, and it fits under the stock size bellhousing?, is the clutch/flywheel thickness similar to stock gm push style? I'm thinking I might pull off the front plate ( I did a little research and it doesn't look too bad) and drill and tap it for a stud. Thanks sorry for all the questons, I just want to get it right the first time
