Speedo driven gear metal housing part number?
Fished through a bunch of threads without really hitting upon anything.
I recently went from 2.73 to 3.42, got the correct speedo gears but I learned my trans has the original plastic housing with the metal shaft driven gear. So I need the newer style metal housing as my plastic driven gear will not fit. I can't seem to find anything definitive here or elsewhere.
Just looking for the correct part. 1989 TH700R4.
Thanks.

helllLLLOOOOOOOOOoooooo.
Should I drop $25 on a small aluminum part? Is this what I need for my 40T plus gear?

I'm glad the aluminum is available again.
NLA when I last looked; plastic was the only option.
Tonnes of stuff getting reproduced these days.

FYI this is the correct housing for TH700R4 and the all-plastic 40-43 tooth driven gears
