u joint difference
ok so I just picked up a parts car (89 GTA) and it came with an aluminum drive shaft.. I currently have a steel and would like to change it out. it does not have the slip yoke for the transmission but I know the one on my steel would work.
my question is... im going to get new u-joints for it but not sure on the difference. I will need to use my steel slip yoke from my car I have on now but the driveshaft will be the aluminum. what u-joints will I need to get(size wise) so it will work correctly or are they the same as steel.
thank you all in advance.

Re: u joint difference
the reason im asking is because I also swapped in the 9 bolt when I swapped over the rears from the same gta parts car and the steel driveshaft fin on the rear yoke. just wasn't sure if the front slip yoke would fin the aluminum u joint. and as I do searches there are part number after part number after part number and there all differeant.
looked up steel drive shaft slip yoke ujoint size and found 8 different part number. why is it so confusing.... all I wanted was the ujoint to combine the steel slip yoke to the aluminum driveshaft and the rear ujoint to fit the aluminum driveshaft to the rear yoke.
im also new to all this so it is confusing when I see so many part numbers.
