vibration with pre-load plate and without it on tranny mount.

ok, installed an energy suspension tranny mount without the "pre load" plate, and i had vibrations that seemed to be harmonic (occuring at certain RPMS, and not constant, more like waves) and alot of vibration at high RPMS\load near the shifter.

i put on the "pre load" plate\spacer, and the vibrations are a little worse, and it still has alot of vibrations ONLY near the shifter, only at high RPMS\load,

what should i do now?

David,

You may recall that I recently had problems almost identical to yours. I installed the plate initially and have not removed it. Most of my problem has been traced to an engine miss caused by a vacuum leak. I still have a very slight vibration that might be the driveshaft or a u-joint. I'll be putting on a new 1LE aluminum shaft soon and hopefully that will cure the rest of it. If not, maybe that is just as good as it will get...

i think im gonna bring it buy a drivetrain shop, have them LOOK at it, and see what they think, (what b\s answer they come up with), and im gonna buy another poly mount from another company, and if that doesn't work, ill put spacers on the crossmember bolts to lower it all.
