here it goes blew the AUBURN posi rear outa my 86Z. while looking on ebay i found a couple of posi diffs.will any of these fit in my 10 bolt 7.5 I have an open rear out of a 90 RS I think it has 28 spline axles and series 3 diff

99 Z28 10 bolt 7.5
astro van 10 bolt 7.5
I think they are series 3 diffs

yeah any carrier out of a 7.5 (or 7 5/8) will fit. the trick isthe splines being the same, so it's best to know what you have and need or have to buy axles to fit.

 

Your 90 diff should have 28 spline axles.

The 99 Z28 will need 28 spline axles. The astro van will depend on the year. You can pretty well assume anything newer than 1990 will have 28 spline.

I used a 28 spline carrier out of a 93 S-10 for my 10 bolt.
