4th Gen Clutch Pedals all the same?

4th Gen Clutch Pedals all the same?
Looking to gather up the parts to do a T56 swap in my 88. I currently have a T5 swap.
Several postings suggest using 4th gen pedals for the swap...there are two V6 Camaros, a ‘97 and a 2000 with 5-speeds in our local junkyard..are the pedals the same, and what switches do I need?

I also used the 3rd gen pedals. However, it strokes the clutch master cyl too far... the stud is too far from the pivot. 4th gen ones fix that, obviously.
I would expect they'd all be the same; it would have cost GM more to make them different if that wasn't absolutely unavoidable. Measure from the pivot to the stud on your existing one, and on the 4th gen you are considering buying; if that distance on the 4g setup is about 75% or so of what it is on your 3g, it should work perfect.

Bumping this to see if the OP ever got this swap done.
I am wanting to convert my Iroc to a 6 speed down the road. Just wanting to confirm that 4th gen pedals will bolt into the 3rd gen and work fine. Or is there a better option (aftermarket?), I don't seem to find any 3rd gen pedal assemblies for sale anywhere.

My understanding is you’ll have to slightly enlarge the holes to bolt it to the firewall, and it’s easier to cut off the gas pedal (the gas pedal is a separate part on Thirdgens).
I’m gathering parts to do a T56 in my ‘88.

Numerous people have used them, and done what Galaxie describes. Not sure myself about the details of the "enlarge" part but if that's necessary it's a pretty minor adaptation.

Awesome, thanks for teh info guys. I have to go to the pick n pull this weekend for seat belts, might look and pull a pedal assembly if they have one.
