what rears would be a direct swap?
what kinda cars could i look for that would swap rear end directly with my 88 305 SC...i know any 3rd gen f body is a direct swap but is there any other cars? like monte carlos maybe? im looking for a 3.73 rear end with drums or discs if i can find them

Axle/Gears: 3.42 posi / 4.11 posi
a 4th gen is a direct swap but i think you will have to use the 4th gen wheels as well but not sure. most of the 4th gen v8 cars got descent gears& disc brakes

i had planned on getting a set of gragar SS rims...if i was to get the 4th gen rear couldnt i just get the back that would fit the rear and then get the regular 3rd gen spacing for the front?
