9 Bolt BW & Australian??

Does anyone know the difference between the 2, if there is any?

I think mine is the Borg Warner one, if so did they only come in two ratio types? i.e 2.77 & 3.27??

Thanks guys

I'm pretty sure that what you are referring to is the fact that the 9-Bolt Borg Warner rear ends were manufactured by Borg Warner's Australian business unit. So, in this context, they are the same.

And yes, indeed, they did only come on the third gen Camaros as 2.77 and 3.27. I have the 2.77...

Hey - I used to live in the UK. Drove a Mini (Park Lane model, no less!)

Actually it was 3.45s not 3.47s, and they came in 3.08s every once in a while. If you dont believe me I have one, and it is listed as a code in my service manual.

Borg Warner and Australian rear are one and the same.

Ratios in 3rd gens were 2.77, 3.08, 3.27 & 3.45.

I carrier new ratios of 3.45, 3.73 (NOT 3.70) and 4.10, also new posi carriers. All the info is on my page.
