700r4 buzzing noise zzzzzzz
My 700r4 has a buzzing noise ever since I did my first oil and filter change on it like a few years back. Still shifts ok just that the buzz is annoying Its not an electric buzz more like a physical part moving up and down. Any idea what it might be? Sometimes it slows down and when I rev it, It buzzs faster as I give it gas. It happened after my first oil and filter change when I first got it. Before there was no noise. I'll take a video and post tomorrow, I'm sure somebody has had this happen as well.

Since it started after the filter change that is where I would start. It may be that the filter isn't fully seated. Also, most of the time the old sealing ring stays in the pump bore. Easy to miss this and leave it there.

Yup, sounds to me like a leak at the filter neck, and it's sucking in air.

Yeah I know about the oil filter o ring getting stuck in the bore. I always double check that. And I'm pretty sure that I fully seated the filter but Im' not 100 % sure. I'll post up a video so you guys can hear it. It doesn't sound like a leak to me but who knows.

I think it's next to impossible to get the pan on these things if the filter isn't all the way in, unless you have an aftermarket deep pan
