Car: 1990 Camaro IROCZ

Engine: 305

Transmission: T5

Axle/Gears: 3.45

9 bolt axle installation

Did a complete rebuild on my 9 bolt rearend, new bering , new gear. Passenger side axle went right in, but the drivers side not so easy. Starts to go in, but then it feels like it’s hitting something, needs to go in about another 1/2 inch. i’m i missing something?
