Removing rear pinion shaft bolt.

Whats the best way to remove the pinion shaft lock bolt on the diff without breaking it.? Should I apply some heat to it? They like to break.

They don't break when you are removing them, they brake during use. If you take it out and it's broke then it's been broke for a while.

I have had good luck with using ONLY a 6 sided wrench and a sharp impact vs trying to turn it
