Need some help badly. Did a carb swap and somehow it's like the torque converter has no stall at all anymore. Have to shift to neutral at red lights and stays engaged no matter the rpm.

What is it idling at? Sounds like you might have either the idle adjustment too high or possibly a vacuum leak.

Idling at 1100. Swapped from the quadrajet to a holley street warrior 600cfm. Fast idle is about 2200 rpm.

Yeah, that is a bit too high, you should aim for the 600-700 range. The carb may need some adjusting, there is a good Holley tuning sticky here just do a quick search. Another quick question, are you using a spread to square adapter?

Yes using an adapter. Plan on dropping a L33 with a 2 speed in it next month. Just tearing the driveway up with it acting like this. Is the lock up vacuum controlled? Could that be the culprit?

The lockup is electrically controlled, if get your idle in the right area you will probably be fine.
