89 IROC L98 auto to a T56?
I have read the tech articles and everything but I was wondering if anyone has cost numbers? Since I don't have the equip. or know how I am going to have a performance shop put it in. Any one have an idea on labor cost for swithing from auto to manual 6 speed and how much every thing (including average price of trans) would be.

as a matter of fact im doing this very thing as we speak. i have the 89 L98 iroc in the driveway, and the t56 stuff sitting in the garage. i paid 1100 for a t56 with a McLeod clutch disc and pressure plate. im having to get everything else like the flywheel ($150), master/slave cylinder ($105), and adjustable torque arm/crossmember ($385 powerdercoated and shipped). currently i am waiting on my steve spohn t56 torque arm/crossmember, then the swap will be underway. so around 1700 total spent so far. you could go cheaper and get just a 100 dollar crossmember and use the stock t56 torque arm instead of the 400 dollar steve spohn torque arm, i just decided to do it right the first time.
I have about 1700 in my swap. I made my own crossmemeber but I spend $420 on a good SPEC clutch/pressure plate and spent 270 on a flywheel for my two piece RMS small block so it could be done cheaper than that.
