Approx. how much does a rebuild cost?
i have a 700r4 in my 88 and i was just wondering how much the typical rebuild costs? i cant remember how much my moms car was (95 lumina) i do know that the rebuild only lasted a year in her car and its about to go again...

Transmission: 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 3.23
I just went to a transmission shop the other day to get a quick estimate on a rebuilt for my 90 TH700. He said it would be about $800-900 for just the rebuild and about $1300-1400 with a high stall TC (GM2000) and a transgo shift kit (total includes cost of TC and shift kit)
