help me choose driveline combo

I have a 1986 TPI trans am that i am going to swap in a supercharged 355 into it the motor supposedly made about 480hp to the rear wheels and about 600hp to the fly wheel. What kind of driveline stuff do i need to mod. I was going to get the tranny rebuilt with some performance parts from summit racing. but what kind of rearend modding do i need to do?? or is there a good rear i could just pull from something an use??

If you still have a stock 10-bolt, I'd either swap in a Ford 9", or go with some aftermarket (something like Art Carr or Moser) 12-bolt rear end.

If you don't want to spend that kind of money, then at least get a stud girdle, and put some reinforcing welds at the axle tubes.
