Are 10 bolt posi units rebuildable?

I read the article on the Borg-Warner 9 bolt. But I'm working with an (Eaton I guess?) posi from a 7 5/8" 10 bolt axle.

Can these be rebuilt? Where can I get some info on rebuild kits if so, like prices and things like that?

hey, don't you belong on that astro board
SLP sells posi carriers, but I'm not sure it would fit the astro. It may, but you would have to double check to be sure.

I DO belong to the Astro board

And yes it fits. They have the same gears and carrier as the 3 gens.

astro, i'm pretty sure dan burk wrote a tech article about building the eaton 10 bolt axle. it's in the tech articles section, titled "dan burk's building a better 10 bolt", i believe. dan posts here as ws6transam, so if you have any questions, you can contact him directly. his website is pretty cool, he's got some other upgrades detailed on his site, check it out.
