Hey guys, I知 new to the third gen world ad have a question and I知 hoping you guys can help me out. I just bought a 92 Camaro RS that had a 350 swapped into it. The trans it had was a decent 4L60, and a few days later I had a bunch of neutrals. The guy I bought the car from said he was going to swap in a manual, and gave me a T5 from an 89 IROC, the clutch assembly, pedals, a master cylinder, and a slave cylinder. I know I知 still missing a bellhousing, but I知 having a hard time tracking one down. Is there anything else I知 missing, and is there any advice that you might have for me doing this swap? I致e swapped a trans before, but never an auto to manual, so I am trying to get as much info as possible. Thanks in advance! If I知 missing any info about the car that you need let me know, everything else is stock with the exception of the motor.
Torque arm bracket, VSS maybe, speedo gears maybe, flywheel, clutch, throwout bearing, pilot bushing/bearing, fork, shifter, console top, upper & lower boots, … maybe a few other items but that'll get you going.
If the 350 is decently powerful, it will annihilate that T5. There's reasons GM didn't put the T5 behind the 350 from the factory. You're better off getting a built 4L60.
