The solution to the vibration at speed
Hello,
Anyone who has seen my threads in the past may know that I had damaged my car and have been working to restore and improve.
One thing that was preventing me from daily driving was a vibration that occured around 70mph, but was slightly evident at lower speeds.
I didnt notice how bad it was until I swapped out the driveshaft with an aluminum one.
Mine was steel, and must have been thrown off balance in the "agression" with the curb.
I'm happy to report I found an aluminum one for $100 and throwing it in solved my vibration issues. The car is performing very well, and it put a smile on my face.
I'm going to be replacing and beefing up my rear end with a TORQUE LOCK M78 28 SPL unit.
Then I'm finally getting my SFCs welded in.
Looking forward to sharing more in the future! Hopefully this isnt considered "pointless" by any old timers.
Maybe this could help someone down the line!
Peace!
