Th200c Shifting problems
I just picked up a 82 z28. It's got TH200c trans. I'm starting to think the c stands for crap. Haha.
If you shift the car manually it works great. The issues I'm having are if you start the car off in D it starts in second gear, not first. And it won't downshift on it's own.

Best bet is to put 700r4 in there you will like freeway driving much more. Why gm didnt put them in 82's? I know they were available in different models in 82
