OK this might go in motor swap BUT you history guys know ALL..

I have an 82 Z28 with Borg warner 4 SPEED....

so do I have a "normal" 168 tooth flywheel?

as in any 1955-86ish block, crank etc.

The reason I ask is the 383 needs a "400" (externally balanced)
flywheel to work so, if I just buy say a Hays SFI aprroved 400 flywheel will it work, or what about one from GM for a 400? (169$)

IIRC you still have the 153 tooth wheel. The 4 speed was a T-4 im my memory serves me correctly and th only real difference between those and the T-4 is 5th gear.
