My father brought a b&m shift improver kit for my 60K mile 89 GTA for Christmas. will this thing be harder on any components on my car? I know a lot of people on here have had bad luck with them. my car is a daily driver, so I really don't want to have to pay a repair bill.

I'd return it to AutoZone (since they take anything) and spend the extra couple bucks on the Trans-Go kit.

Oh, props to your dad who buys you car parts. My dad nearly passed out when he saw us with the entire tranny out of my van during the converter install.

 

Thanks for the input dude, I appreciate it. yeah, my dad is cool, when I graduated high school he brought me a 1977 S/E Trans Am. Pretty Cool huh?
