Shift Points 700-4r

Not WOT. Under normal driving from a stop, what are the shift points speed wise from 1st->2nd->3rd?

Re: Shift Points 700-4r

It's hard to answer that question. Different rear end gear ratios will shift at different speeds. Better to be looking at engine RPM rather than speed for the shift point. But, part load throttle position will alter the shift points as well. Light throttle will be a sooner shift and heavier throttle will hold the shifts longer. There is not set part throttle shift RPM or wheel speed.

Typically, if the WOT shift points are at the right RPM, the part throttle shifts are as well. You will be able to feel if its upshifting too soon or holding the shift too long under part throttle.
