Probuilt Automatics Shift Kit Install

I'm getting a bit stuck doing my install on Probuilt Automatics shift kit for my 1986 700r4. Do I have to do the drilling into the pump cover and take it off? And the biggest immediate question I have is how do I change the governor springs without cutting the two pins? The kit did not come with new pins and I do need to change the springs, as the ones in there are the blue and white V6 springs.

Necessary Question 2: The new springs for the accumulator are FLUSH with the opening of the housing and I'm not sure if they are supposed to be or not. Dana's instructions have no spring setting washer, but the transgo kit has one. Is this a difference in his piston or something else entirely?
Note: A spring setting washer was NOT present in the factory unit for some reason, even though I believe there is supposed to be one in there and the factory purple spring in my accumulator was broken so who knows what went on there...

If I supplied you with the 937 accumulator housing. Then it will not use a spring as per instructions. If it was a 428 accumulator housing. I would have supplied you with the spring seat as pre instructions.
