What weight/spring combo did you use for what rpm?I have a 700r4 if it matters.Stock the weights look the same and the springs are a blue and a orange/brown looking one.

There were some people on the team chevelle website discussing this kit. After my new gears are in I may have to look into it myself.

Sorry, but there is no rythm or reason to it!!!! Just trial and error....
I spent a day on it, then the new springs must of "relaxed" after a mos. and the shift points went too high so another day spent...
Just shoot for the 1-2 shift point and then manual shift the 2/3. Maybe some else had better luck than me; but I found as you change the 1/2 rpms then the 2/3 will change-and not always the direction you thought it should!
Sorry-I wish I could give you a place to start-but it's just impossible! Only thing I can say is once you get it close-then leave the springs alone and just change the wgts-I ended up grinding down heavier wgts to reduce/increase the wgts by as little as 8grams at a time.
Take notes! And have a good scale handy! Good luck!
It made me dream of a 4L60E.....
