Working on a 5.3 turbo swap. I've been using Megasquirt for about 11 years but I'm thinking of switching to Holley. Any of you guys using Holley for both engine and trans control?

Are the shift points programmable in the Holley like they are with MS? Meaning, can I configure my wide open throttle shift points at set RPM for drag racing? (so I can "leave it in drive) ?

I tuned a few 4l80e holley ECU. Make sure you get the one with trans control outputs.

It works but there is no torque management, at least not in the ones I tuned. Kind of sucks for the 4l60e not to be able reduce torque because you make that kinda 5.3turbo power 1k tire it will wreck the trans easy with no holding back I imagine.

Gota remember the delay too. You tell it shift 5000rpm and it will click on or off a solenoid at 5000rpm, but then fluid has to move valves and flow into drums and apply clutches etc... which takes time. The time is takes depends on the pressure and trans mods and the rate of acceleration (dRPM) being different depending on the gear ratio and power output means the shift RPM setting could be different as you make the car faster the shift happens later or if the tire gets loose the shift can happen too soon etc...
