Hi, getting rid of my TH350 and installing a 4L60E since I have the Holley EFI that will run it. My 82 has a 3 speed auto shifter and uses the original shifter cable. I picked up a 4 speed auto shifter from a 91 at salvage yard but wondering if I need a new cable. Will the original fit or is there something special about the cable once they went to 700R4? If I do need a new cable, I assume I can get one off a 700R4 equipped F body and it will fit the 4L60E? Thanks!
