Idk how to describe it but mine has a thin wall cup plug .375" od/.300" id x ~.685" depth. I just realized that your ^^^attached pic^^^ appears to be an advertisers pic...blow it up 300% and while blurry you can kinda see this plug.

In my previous pic, the dirt makes it look a little deceiving as it appears there's a parting line but kinda looks like casting flash. I recant what I said...it might not be a plug. I gave it a quick squirt of brake clean and light brushing with a bristle brush. I'd be contacting the trans manufacture especially if I shelled out $3500 for a trans.
