Probuilt Automatics Pro Street Elite issues

Just installed a fresh Probuilt Automatics Pro Street Elite 700R4, new Yank 3200 SS converter, into a 1986 Trans Am. Transmission won't shift into fourth. Running a Strange 12 Bolt with 3:73 gears. I can run up to 60 mph, with revs at 3200, and rock the shift lever between 3rd and 4th and the revs won't drop from 3200. The car was built in Van Nuys as an export car. Was originally a carbed lg4. I'm in Canada, so the car never had a factory ECM or computer QJet. The previous 700r4 was working and shifting well, its going to another project. Never traced the lockup circuit, as it always worked well until now. Contacted Dana, and waiting for a call back. Wondering if anybody has run into this scenario before? Im the original owner. Thanks for looking.

He was breaking in a motor. Once he got to higher speeds. It made 4th gear. Transmission is working fine, according to Kelly.

Re: Probuilt Automatics Pro Street Elite issues

Haven't been on here in a while, busy with other projects. Got a call back from Dana, but the problem had solved itself. I was being conservative while breaking in a new engine. Trans wouldn't upshift at 3200, finally stepped on it and at 4400 rpm the trans dropped into fourth and locked up, don't remember what the speed was. Now the trans works great, drops into fourth around 50 mph, all shifts are crisp. Haven't done any wot runs yet.
