200r4 good for me?
i have a 327 L79 in a s10 and im worried about the 1st to 2nd gear issue with the 700r4 and heard the one in the GN was better well this one is out of a monte carlo is it the same will i need to have it built ??? thanks
im sorry i wanted to trade my turbo 350 for a 200r4 out of a monte carlo i was wondering if for my application that would be a smart move cause if on th 700r4 when you shift from first into second it would boug the motor down. and since most likely they were talking with a 350 i would have less tourqe and would basically fall harder and i heard that the ones they put in the grand nationals and the turbo trans ams had the gear thing better and werent as weak and i want the overdrive but i at least want it to compare in speed with my th350. and also with a 327 i should prolly be running some kind of stall converter i am not now and really dont know what to expect do you not move until you hit 2500 if thats what it says or only when you floor it ect i plan on converting to a hyd roller and plan on putting on victor jr intake or possible a rmp air gap but i notice the motor dosent really have any WORTHWHILE torque so my guess is that i would want to bypass it with a stall but im trying to figure out the trns thing too i also have a 3.42 rear diff thanks for the help
