Is Pro 5.0 Shifter stiffness' adjustable?
Is Pro 5.0 Shifter stiffness' adjustable?
Years ago I installed one of these and it was firm and notchy. Now after 20 years I installed on another Thirdgen and it does not feel the same.
Is there and adjustment or did they just made these better 20 years ago?

It's probably in the transmission rather than the shifter. Was the plastic bushing/cup retained on this different feeling shifter? These shifters are really just lever arms and nothing more. Does it feel "wrong"?.

the previous car had a rebuilt T5, with new parts.
this one has 58K Miles on it.
On both I replaced the plastic cup with a metal cup.

Hanlon Motorsports has replacement springs.
i haven't had a Pro 5.0 in front of me in a while, but it should be springs that are shimmed to add firmness.

I recently removed my Pro 5.0 and went back to stock because of how notchy and stiff it was in my original 87...
Only adjustments were the stops...
