84 camaro

I have an 84 camaro with a 9 bolt rear disc 3:27 gear posi . But i know that there is alot of diffrent ones there is a number code under the console cover which tells you but i cant remember what or how to know which one it is. the best way is pull the plate and count the gears.

check the tech data on this site, but it is a 7.5" 10 bolt. You probably have 3.23 or 2.73 gears

FYI - It didn't come that way from the factory as 9 bolts were not available until late 85/early 86, so someone put that in there.
