Help, Need Clutch Fork
92 Camaro 3.1L V6. My clutch fork has wear on the forks but probably would be ok. The problem is that the pivot ball dimple has a crack on the back side and I am afraid it might break out the back after a time. I have checked all the usual sources but the only ones available are for the V8. Mine is stamped V6 and GM 14075718. If I can't find a new or very good used one I guess I could try welding the crack but concerned that the heat might weaken it.

Re: Help, Need Clutch Fork
Nobody has a V6 replacement part so that is the problem. I am going to the big Portland (Oregon) spring auto swap meet tomorrow to look around.

Re: Help, Need Clutch Fork
The difference is in the length and pivot location of the fork due to differences in the bell housing between the V6 and V8. No luck at the Portland swap meet and the one on Ebay looks like it is too worn...
Guess I will have to weld mine.
