1999 C5 4L60 internals in 1988 f-body TH700R4

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there are some internals from a 99 C5 corvette 4L60 that could be used to improve a TH700R4 from a 1988 Firebird (with the L03 engine).

I have both transmission at home and noone seems interested by the Corvette gearbox so I was thinking about improving the 700 using parts from the C5 trans.

The gearbox will be later set on my 83 MSE trans am and may be mated to a LS engine. I'm looking for 350 to 450HP at the crank. The will remain a reliable cruiser for Sunday and holidays. No racing.

I didn't find any post about that but if that subject has already been treated, please send me the link.

Thanks.

FYI - GM's 4L60 non E trans stopped production in 1993 for Corvettes and 1 or 2 other cars. And the 4L60 E trans first came out in 1993.
No such thing as a "1999" 4L60 non E coming from the Corvettes. 4L60's were dead in the water in 1993...

Sorry about that E i forgot.
No doubt these are not the same a the 700 is using cable on the throttle while the 4L60E is computer managed.

The question is ; is there any internal like 2-3 servo i could use from the C5 trans on the 700R4 ?

Both 700R4 and 4L60 (basically same trans different years namings) both use a cable from the carb for its pressure shift points. With or without a cable 700R4 or 4L60 (non E) ended in 1993 - NO such 1999 C5 Corvette "stock" usage.

As for the internals (rotating parts only), you can use here. The only part that will not work is the output shaft.
