Is the tail housing interchangeable?

Can I bolt the tail output shaft from my 1984 700r4 onto a 1994 4l60e? If so, what other hardware will I need to make everything work together? I just really don't want to have to get a new torque arm ATM if I can avoid it.

As long as the 4L60E is a 4-bolt tail housing, should be a direct fit
