4L60E/4L65E Sanity Ceck
Looking for a sanity check from the power train swap guys.
I have a rebuilt L33 5.3L making 400 hp at the crank. The engine has been converted to the LS6 oil pan and intake with a DBW throttle body.
My plan is to pair the L33 with a 4L60E or a 4L65E due to ease on installation and available SPHON cross-member since I am running their 12 bolt rear end and torque arm.
I'm controlling both the engine and transmission with the Holley Terminator X Max ECU.
On the Terminator X documentation is says that an early model 4L70E is compatible. Does anyone know this year range?
My question is will the full bell-housing 4L60E's and 4L65E's made by B&M and Jegs Performance with the RWD 7.5" tail-shaft work for my application. Hyperlinks below.
