1987 Lg4 T5

Is there anything special that I would have to do in order to make a T5 from an 87 Lg4 fit into a 92 305 TBI besides the usual things? And does anybody know if the tranny would be a W.C.T5?

An 87 T-5 would be Non world class and if it's coming from a Camaro cable driven speedo. Your 92 is a electronic speedo so you would have to get a VSS and install it in the 87 trans.

What is a VSS, where do i get it, how much is it, and is it hard to install? Should the tranny be filled with ATF or gear Oil?

87 used 5w30 oil. Double check the metal tag on the side for the number and go to www.5speeds.com to verify the year.
