first third gen camaro its the 84 berlinetta
it needs a lot of work. the trans is burn and i have had a hard time finding info on the berlinetta. i have action on a 350 and i was wondering if it was a strait bolt across or will their have to be modifications done to the drive shaft and any more tips would be of great help. want to start today. thanx

If it's the berlinetta it should be a 2.8 and therefore you going to need a tranny for a 2.8 either a 200c or 700R4, if your car is an overdrive (P,R,N,O,D,2,1) then its a 700r4. Now if someone put a v8 in there than a TH350 will fit as long as you get a xmember and a drive shaft from an 82 (200c).

The 350 will fit
If you are referring to a 350 tranny - yes,... I'm pretty sure you will need a different driveshaft. I believe that there is also a kit availible in the performace parts magazines for this tranny swap.
