Just how good are the SLP posi units. I am very interested in getting one. Also, how much power can they handle. Here's what I am thinkin: SLP posi, 28 spline axles, 3.73 gears. If I have 26 spline axles in my rearend right now, do they just swap out? From where or who should I get the axles from? Am i gonna need any other parts for this other than the install kit?

 

The famous SLP posi (limited slip) is a take off unit from newer Z28's ans Trans Am's. They are the tried and true zexel-torsen GM has used for years. Doubt anyone here will shelling them out anytime soon.
