need help on flywheel

maybe someone can help i need to know what teeth my flywheel is 153 or 168 i am trying to buy a new starter and i would like to buy the right one .....i have 89 camaro 305tpi 5 speed if that helps thanks for any feedback

If the bolts are straight accross the starter is for a 153 tooth, if the bolts are diagonal 168. Most 305's have 153.

The only flywheel that will fit a T-5 is a 153 tooth.

If the parts store your using now can't look in the book and get the right starter it's time to find a new parts store.
