speedo cable

my speedometer cable i maing squeki noise. i`m gonna do some thing on saturday and I want to lubrificate it.

Waht is the best and easy way to do it?

Take out your dash cluster. You'll see the end of the speedo cable when you disconnect it from the cluster. Use some needlenoses and pull it all the way out of the cable sheath.

Then run it back into the sheath through a glob of grease in your palm. Some years use a two piece speedo cable. Sometimes, lubricating just the top piece is enough to stop the squeak (at least inside the car), but if not, then you'll have to pull the cable all the way out to lube the rest.
