Are you only looking into getting an R4?

I'm asking because I know a shop around town that will make you a beefy TH400 for 1200 bucks. I believe that when I asked them about it, they said it would be able to withstand up to 800+ horsepower or somthin like that.

I'll have to get back to you on the name of the shop, I have to look it up. But they made that really sweet Twin Turbo 4th gen that is called "Tweaked II". It was in tons of magazines so i'm sure you've seen it. I was surprised to find out that where that car originated was a shop in Houston off of 1960 and Highway 59.

Let me know if you want the name of that shop and I'll get it for you as soon as I can.

If you are looking for a strong 700R4, then give me a call as I can supply you a Street/Strip transmission (one year warranty) & a 9.5" A.C.T. lockup torque converter (any stall you want) with a one year warranty and a free stall change if necessary. Both sell for $1,940.00. If you are looking for a TH400 that will take 900+ horsepower and a one year warranty for $950.00. If you want a TH400 that will take over 1,000 horsepower, add another $275.00. If I can be of help, call me?
