i wanted to know how you would tell if your tranny is going out on you? i went from a 305 to a 350 and now the car doesn't have any get up and go when the car is warm and it also chuggs between 1500 and 2000rpm range only when cruising but when cold it gets up and goes, why is that? (700r4) same tranny from 305 with 140,000 miles on it please help or could it be some thing else.

 

Sounds like an engine problem, make sure the tv cable is adjusted correctly and the geometry on the carb or throttle body is right.
