Stall converter

One of my buddies is making a little it of a weird 78 camaro. He has a 78 Camaro LT, with the striaght six. Anyways, he is stroking, putting cam in -hyd. : lift(.518)adv.dur(264 deg.) dur..050(206 deg.- or - mechanical, valve lash(.024 in. .026exh.) lift(.581)adv.dur.(280 deg.)dur.050(246 deg.)-
What stall speed would be good with each of these?
Thanx!

I can't understand the cam specs you list. A 246 degrees at .050? That would need about a 3500 rpm converter. You should talk to the converter manufacturer about this.
