EBAY Rear End, Watch Out!

The seller of this rear end claims this axle is from a 91 RS 305. He claims it's a 3.48, that rear end did not come on that car. I e-mailed him thinking maybe it was a 3.42 off a V-6, but he claims he took it off the 305 TBI himself. I don't know. Here is the link:

Who's to say that rear end was the original? Maybe he did take it out of the car he said he took it out of but sometime in the cars past someone changed the rear end. It's obviously not a 3.48, thats not even worth asking about.

If your interested in this rear end ask him to post the number stamped on the ring gear. Thats the only way to know for sure what ratio it is.
