I believe I can beat the price.
I noticed you said the price you guys are looking at right now is $1800. I have actually been talking to a place about purchasing two T-56 trannys. I don't have a soild price yet but I know for sure that they are going to run me less than $1800 each. If you guys are interested I can check on what they would give them to us for with more people involved in the deal. They come complete with everything to put one in an auto car (pedals, master and slave cylinder, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch set, shifter) or I can get just what you are after if you allready have some stuff you need. The tranny itself comes with I believe a 1 year warranty and the clutch set has a 90 day warranty through this place. Let me know what you guys think.

$1800 is the max we're going to pay. I'm going to call liberty tomorrow and see if I can get the price down farther.

I'm going to go ahead and reply here this time but in the future please post in the Tremec GP thread.
I called liberty today and the price they quoted me was $1875 each, I have to call back tomorrow and talk to the boss and see if he'll come down any more.
SouthernFbodys, What you are pricing is used stock transmissions packaged as auto-manual swap kits. We are going after brand new aftermarket transmissions. There are a few differences between the two.

Re: Brand new units
Ok, well I have only one other question then. Are you looking at just the tranny or is it a whole setup to change from auto/manual ? What differences are we talking about...I might be interested myself.
