I want to get rid of the 700 r4 and get a t-56. i was just wondering what i will need to complete the swap. Obviously i will need the console, pedals, and the transmisson what else will i need?

bellhousing, clutch disc, flywheel, pressure plate, crossmember, shifter, slave/master cylinders, all bolts

 

You will also need trans crossmember, I got mine from Spohn, part# T56-XM
Also if you T56 has the electronic speedo you will need a conversion box. Several companies make them. I got mine from Abbott Enterprises, they call it the Cable X box. Their phone number is 800-643-5973.
I got the 5 speed console plate off of Ebay for $15
You also may need to get a starter, the T56 needs the small nose starter. The junkyards didn't have any here and the dealership wanted $300+ for Corvette one, I wanted the high torque one, so I ended up getting one from Jegs....
The T56 will sit about 1/2 inch higher in the trans tunnel so you will have to modify your driveshaft loop if you have one.
I really enjoy mine now that it's done. It was expensive but worth it!
