I want to put some fire into my 84 HO. I want to add 3.73's and also put on a 2500 stall torque converter. I have installed and Intake Manifold and out on headers. But that is about it. My question is, how hard of a time will I have trying to install these items? Should I try to do these modifications with the help of my trusty Chiltons book? Or should I spend more money and get these modifications done by a mechanic?

the converter is a pretty easy R&R the gear set requires tools most people don't have. they aren't hard to do but easy to mess up, and you need the right tools. look in your manual to get an idea of what's involved.
